Francesco used to be the new kid on the block at Face, heading the social media team, also known as Face Wired. Now he is just the one with the Tony Soprano's accent.

He holds a PhD in New Media and Sociology and has been heavily involved in social networking, grassroots marketing and immersive media as a researcher, strategist and (dontwannabe) entrepreneur. He joined Face in January 2009 to help bring co-creation back to where it belongs: social media!

He loves trying to make sense of the world wide rave and as part of the Face Wired team Francesco focuses on social media analysis, tech research, web strategy, crowd-sourcing, online co-creation and brand advocacy. He is passionate about technology and mass collaboration but sometimes he also happens to pop out of his laptop. And when he does so, you can probably find him losing his face at music festivals, cooking weird recipes or snowboarding in his living room.
