Andrew Needham

Andrew is a serial entrepreneur and innovator with a 15 year track record of building successful media and marketing businesses aimed at niche segments. Throughout his career Andrew has pioneered new techniques  and methodologies of working with consumers from peer to peer marketing in the 1990’s to co-creating and crowd sourcing with consumers both on-line and off-line to drive innovation and social media planning in the last few years.  He is passionate about understanding customer audiences, being instrumental in setting up Face’s collaboration communities, Headbox (aimed at youth) and Mindbubble (aimed at women) and how to market with consumers rather than at them. He now brings 15 years of combined experience in brand marketing research and innovation having worked with major companies such as Barclaycard, Unilever, Boots, GSK and Bank of Ireland.

Andrew is a member of the Marketing Society, the MRS and Vice President of  WOM (Word of Mouth) UK Association which is affiliated with WOMMA in America; he is also a regular panel speaker at insight, co-creation and word of mouth conferences and contributes often to the research and marketing press

Francesco is Research Director and Head of Social Media. He holds a PhD in New Media and Sociology. His research focused on immersive media and the social web.

Over the past ten years he has been involved in social networking, collaborative research and immersive media as a researcher, web strategist and entrepreneur working for research agencies and web startups.

The New Face Site Has Arrived

There was blood, there was sweat, there were a few tears, possibly a little aging and hair loss, but it was all worthwhile as the new Face site arrived at the beginning of May. The main objective for the site was to be more than just a company website but a hub for co-creation.
